Ash cottage is part of a pretty handcrafted, timber-framed barn conversion built to a traditional style and nestliing in the Suffolk countryside. Ash cottage has been converted and furnished to a high standard with the emphasis being firmly placed on comfort, relaxation and enjoyment. Ash cottage and Tree Tops are all part of Chestnut Tree Barns and can be booked together to accommodate larger parties.

Hot tub under all-weather, lit, oak gazebo. Shared utility area with washing machine, drying space and fridge with freezer space. Towels provided for guests, we ask that you bring your own towels for hot tub use. Cycle storage available on request.

We have just spent a lovely relaxing break at Ash. The accommodation is equipped with everything you could possibly need and very comfortable and clean. The welcome pack is perfect lovely to be able to have refreshments as soon as you arrive. Clare and Scott are so welcoming and friendly and on hand with recommendations for places to visit. They are very dog friendly, the enclosed paddock was perfect for our dog we were able to exercise her off lead securely and safely. We enjoyed the hot-tub and patio, the surrounding area is picturesque and peaceful all you can hear is birdsong. One of the nicest breaks we have had, thank you.

Ash, Cedar, and Treetops Apartment
Thank you so much for your kindness and great hospitality during our stay with you in October. The little extras like more towels for the little ones, freedom to use all the facilities, little treats for the children and of course not forgetting lots of ”bang bottles” (as Henry called the bottles of prosecco that you gave us) all made our stay with you that much more relaxing and fun. You are clearly both made for this!
